Instacart operates a same-day grocery delivery service by connecting consumers with personal shoppers who hand pick items at the customers’ favorite local stores and deliver the merchandise straight to their door. Apart from its website, the Instacart service is mainly provided through a smartphone app on the iOS and Android platforms.
The Instacart accounting department was using intuit QuickBooks as its primary financial software.
