Regional Sales Manager – West Coast

Role Description:

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales of Oracle cloud application and technology engagements. This position will manage all aspects of the sales process, including securing net-new business, lead management, qualification, evaluation, and close. This sales role will involve working closely with our Industry and Practice Leaders across the region to identify new consulting services and managed service opportunities focused on Midsize and Enterprise organizations. This position requires strategic selling skills around a diverse product offering to C-Level Executives.

Job responsibilities:

  • Selling Infovity’s consulting services and managed services to Oracle Cloud customers
  • Develop a strong understanding of key drivers and pain points within the industry understand the solutions that can help solve business issues
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Provide activity forecasts and regular pipeline reporting through the CRM system
  • Collaborate with internal industry teams to develop Go-To-Market Strategy/Plan
  • Meet and exceed quotas through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing opportunities
  • Ability to effectively lead a strategic and complex sales process and execute close plans
  • Develop executive relationships within a defined region and industry community
  • Effectively build client presentations and prepare proposals
  • Manage client expectations throughout the sales cycle and closing process
  • Make significant contributions to the local team and the company sales culture
  • Understanding of industry trends and client needs, develop & deliver compelling value propositions
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in the Oracle space
  • Establish account presence and build trust with key contacts within the Oracle Channel
  • Interact with partners to jointly market and sell to mutual customers, share leads, and position solutions
  • Strategically aligning with Oracle Channel and co-selling with their sales team
  • Understand the competitive market, be familiar with competing companies and their product suite

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 3+ years of consulting and cloud managed services sales experience
  • 3+ years of selling or providing customer service in the Oracle ecosystem
  • Demonstrated success with solution selling, C-Level relationship selling, and co-selling with the Oracle Channel
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Applications: ERP, SCM, HCM, EPM, and BI solutions
  • This is a strategic “hunter” role, and qualified candidates must provide examples of their ability to generate organic revenue growth via prospecting tools and techniques
  • Experience in territory planning and territory development in an emerging market
  • Excellent attention to detail, well organized and strong time management skills
  • Articulate, credible, and persuasive
  • Strategic thinker, proven experience navigating through a complex sales process
  • Strong objection handling skills
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written, team player, and outstanding presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial – willing to go the extra mile, competitive mindset, excellent work ethic, resourceful, “get it done” attitude
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products
