Project Manager

Job Profile:

We have openings for Project Managers experienced in implementing Oracle R12 EBiz Suite and Fusion implementations.

Role Description:

  • Responsible for Resource Management, Resource Utilization, Planning, Estimation, Release Management and Risk Management.
  • Coordinate and work with user departments in activities related to the transition to the new Oracle ERP system.
  • Perform gap analysis to identify functions/features required but not available in the new Oracle ERP system and follow up with such enhancements in the new system.
  • Identify data conversion requirements and assist vendor to perform data conversion.
  • Establish and setup system configurations related to all system and application modules.
  • Identify and setup user roles and user accounts to ensure effective and secure access control to the system and application modules.
  • Design training plans and schedules, and provide training to all users.
  • Identify report requirements of all departments and ensure must have reports are available in the new Oracle ERP system.
  • Design and develop user reports.
  • Perform testing of applications, enhancements, reports, and data conversion.
  • Identify and design data integration between the new ERP system and other Business Application.
  • Identify procedural changes and establish new work flow and procedures in accordance with the interface with the new Oracle ERP system.
  • Coordinate meetings with users and Oracle ERP vendor.
  • Monitor project activities and progresses of vendor to ensure compliance with the Oracle ERP contract.
  • Reporting the consolidated project status to the Practice Head.
  • Ensure timely communication of issues and status.
  • Identify the Risks in advance and mitigate the same.
  • Coordinate and facilitate delivery of project objectives.
  • Track progress and review project tasks to make certain deadlines are met appropriately.

Mandatory Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in Project Management, specifically in Oracle ERP Projects.
  • Ability to manage technical and functional teams and mentor team members.
  • Exposure to customer handling and vendor management.
  • Thorough knowledge of Oracle Apps modules like Financials, SCM, HRMS and CRM.
  • Should have excellent communication skills and should be able to independently handle overseas clients.
  • Ability to translate requirements into design documents.
  • Knowledge of Oracle’s AIM methodology, experience writing BR030s, MD050s, MD070s and MD120s.
  • Self-motivated and able to take initiative.
  • Able to interface with business users at all levels of the organization.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to acquire, absorb, and apply complex business knowledge to problems quickly.
  • Ability to multi task and still stay focused on release priorities.

Academic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business / Computer Science or equivalent.
