This is an entry-level position affording a recent graduate or early career individual to gain experience in Oracle EPM Cloud applications and tools, and who has a strong desire to build a career in the consulting industry.
Operating under general direction, the Associate EPM Cloud Analyst provides analytical and functional support to the EPM team's initiatives. He/she will be responsible for interfacing with EPM team for delivery of key planning & budgeting applications, financial consolidation, board presentation ready reports, ad hoc reports & analyses.
Be a part of the team to provide planning, budgeting, financial consolidation, and reporting solutions to our customers. Working with senior leads and managers, the analyst will be responsible for:
Analyzing and documenting business requirements.
Assisting with design and development planning model, budget templates and business rules.
Configuring out of the box Enterprise Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS) business models.
Configure integration between EPBCS and Oracle GL, EPBCS and HCM.
Schedule data load process and setup automated data load processes.
Configuring workflow and budget approval mechanism.
Participating in system testing.
Conduct troubleshooting analyses; document system errors and issues clearly/with screenshots; escalate for review & ticket creation to EPM management team for approval / prioritization.
Assist with providing proactive training to end-users during project rollouts, as needed.
Assist with maintaining system and program administration documentation; update documentation on a frequent basis.
Document internal processes and audit procedures to ensure data integrity of systems.
Validate and test the systems to ensure customer requirements are met.
Assist Infovity EPM solution architects in managing various projects across EPM.
1-2 years of experience working with Oracle EPM Cloud (PBCS or EPBCS or FCCS) or Hyperion systems (Oracle Essbase or MS OLAP Services or IBM TM1). We will also consider candidate with less experience who can demonstrate good understanding of functional aspects of financial consolidation, financial planning, and reporting.
Understanding of OLAP or Multi Dimensional Database.
Export to any reporting tool and understanding of financial statements.
Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives.
Ability to work rapidly in team environment and with pressure of competing deadlines and frequent interruptions in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
Proficiency using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and Google office products.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain data and findings to a non-technical audience.
Requires a Bachelor's degree preferably in computer science or Finance or Mathematics, or CPA, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
